Port Blair, April 27: The team of ‘Yuva Sangam, Phase-2’ programme under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat scheme from Andaman & Nicobar Islands consisting of 45 students along with faculty on day 3 of their tour to Jharkhand visited Chandil Dam which is one of most important source of water in Jharkhand.

Port Blair, April 27: The District Magistrate, South Andaman has notified for the information of all concerned that that PBMC is constructing a cross drainage at Lillypur Basthi, Ward No. 1 between Shri Abdul Kader’s residence and P.M General Store. In view of this, the road will be closed for vehicular movement for 20 days from April 28, 2023 to May17, 2023.

Port Blair, April 27: The vessel MV Nalanda will sail for Chennai via Little Andaman, Nancowry & Campbell Bay on April 30, 2023 at 0900. Excess baggage will be loaded from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs on April 29, 2023 i.e. one day prior to sailing of the vessel. Embarkation of passengers will commence from 0700 Hrs to 0800 hrs on April 30, 2023. The embarkation of passengers will be closed one hour before the schedule time. Passengers reporting late will not be allowed to board the vessel.
